Bruxelles Nov.24 - Jaunaux gives a lecture at Lodge of Research Ars Macionica

On Saturday 24 November 2007, F. Laurent Jaunaux will give a lecture in French entitled "Le Guide des Maçons Écossais early for its time? " at the Lodge of Research Ars Macionica Nr. 30, Regular Grand Lodge of Belgium.

The Lodge will be opened in the Third Degree at 10.30 a.m., 265 rue Royale in Brussels.

The lecturer intends to show how Le Guide des Maçons Écossais influenced the ritual evolution along the 19th C. as well as how it was itself under a strong influence wherever it took root, thus asserting the universal aspect of the A&ASR intended by Dalcho and Mitchell.
In a modernized version by our Bro. Jaunaux, Le Guide des Maçons Écossais was issued under the title Le rituel des anciens ou Edition 6004 du guide des maçons écossais (Dervy, November 2004). A facsimilé of the original edition together with a critical apparatus and notes by our Bro. Pierre Noël as well as a Foreword by Bro. Pierre Mollier was published by the editions A L'Orient ( in June 2006.
